		<description>I agree with what you say but i am going to be the devils advocate and ask..

Instead of teachers finding different ways, projects, or other motivators... why can&#039;t the students become more accountable?  If they know they will not graduate, then they will try harder.  I find that is the case more often than not.  Don&#039;t get me wrong.. some do have problems but come on... if you can&#039;t read by the 4th grade... why should they go on?</description>
